THE GI PATHOGEN SCREEN TEST (Stool)
Powerful stool panels for assessment of pathogens and dysbiosis. BioHealth Diagnostics’ microbiology methods are aimed at improving the recovery and identification of gastrointestinal organisms. Digestive tract infections and dysbiosis must be evaluated to determine a patient’s foundational health status. BioHealth’s microbiology department uses advanced staining and antigen techniques to recover pathogens and detect non-pathogenic organisms without the confusing results seen in less time-proven methods. Upgraded methods improve the detection and identification of bacteria and yeast.Standard bacteria and yeast identifications include the most common organisms we’ve identified in recent years.Identifications are confirmed on an automated platform using optical signals generated by biochemical reactions.parasite ID and culture methods have proven to be clinically relevant and reliable for years. These methods avoid the pitfalls of new, overly sensitive technologies which leave many clinicians wondering if their patient has a problem or not.
