Colon Hydrotherapy in Winchester, CA
Private, closed-system sessions with a nationally board-certified colon therapist. By appointment only.
Colon hydrotherapy is a gentle infusion of warm, filtered water into the colon. The water helps soften and loosen waste, which then leaves the body through normal peristalsis. No drugs and no chemicals are involved.
At Nethersprings, every session is run personally by Wendy McPhail, a Nationally Board Certified Colon Therapist. Sessions are private, every speculum is single-use, and the system is closed — no odor, and no loss of dignity at any point.

Book an AppointmentWhat Colon Hydrotherapy Is
Colon hydrotherapy — also called colonic irrigation — introduces filtered, temperature-regulated water into the large intestine. The water softens and loosens waste, which the body evacuates through its own peristaltic action. The cycle is repeated several times over the course of a session.
Colon hydrotherapy is not a cure and does not treat any medical condition. It is a supportive procedure that some people choose as one part of a broader approach to digestive wellness, alongside diet and lifestyle changes. If you have a diagnosed digestive condition, speak with your physician before booking.
What Happens During a Colon Hydrotherapy Session
Your first visit
Your first colon hydrotherapy session runs longer than follow-up visits. You will complete intake forms and a health questionnaire, and we spend time on your questions before anything begins. We walk you through the equipment, show you the sealed single-use speculum in its package, and explain the insertion step, so nothing comes as a surprise.
The session itself
You lie on your left side in the Sims position for insertion, with the therapist assisting. From there you move onto your back with your head and shoulders raised, and get comfortable. You are covered throughout.
Warm, body-temperature water flows in through the speculum. Most people describe the feeling as fullness that comes and goes, similar to the sensation before a normal bowel movement. You can ask to pause or stop at any point.
The equipment
Nethersprings uses a HydroSan hydrotherapy unit, an FDA-cleared device ([Insert 510(k) clearance number]). It runs a multi-stage water purification system and operates as a closed system, so waste travels directly into the drain line without odor or exposure. The unit is cleaned and disinfected after every session, and all speculums are single-use and discarded afterward.
Session Length and Pricing
A colon hydrotherapy session takes about 45 minutes. Allow at least an hour for the visit, and longer for your first appointment.

Most clients book a short series rather than a single visit. Wendy will suggest a starting point based on your goals at your first appointment.

[Insert contraindication list from the I-ACT protocol and current intake screening.]
If you are unsure whether a session is right for you, call before booking. We would rather turn an appointment away than run a session that is not appropriate.
